As it is known, the bulgur which is a traditional food ingredient of our country started to be produced as  fabricationin the 1970s in Turkey.

Established in Ereğli District of Konya Province which is located in the Central Anatolia region in 1996, our factory has been continuing natural and high-quality bulgur production since then by renewing itself with the developing technology every year.

For the bulgur which is broken in stone mills to be produced in the most natural way, our factory buys the highest quality durum wheat grown in the Central Anatolia region every yearand adds to its stocks.We give importance to the standard, quality and taste of our products and quality control at every stage from bulgur production to its packaging with great care.

Ethemoğlu Bulgur company operate according with to the related Turkish food codex legislation and Bulgur communiqué.

Our company, which has an ISO-9001 The Quality Managment System and ISO-22000 The food safety management system , has had no compromise on quality and prioritized the customer satisfaction since its establishment.

With its quality and natural production, Ethemoğlu Bulgur, which continues its commercial life with its totally domestic capital and 36 employees, contributes to the national economy by serving the domestic and foreign markets and forms a market within the region’s farmers with an annual average consumption of 12,500 tons of wheat.

Our facility has 1000 tons capacity closed raw material storage, 5.000 tons capacity silos and again 800 tons capacity closed warehouses. Our daily bulgur production is 50 tons and this capacity can be increased upon request.

When we look at the nutritional value of the bulgur we produce from the durum wheat especially grown in our region, it is more nourishing than the other food ingredients for the reason thatthe amount of protein and nitrogen in the middle part of the durum (hard)  wheat is higher than that of starch.

Its superiority to pasta and other cereal products is due to the fact that the boiling phase of the bulgur production is carried out with vapor pressures, the important minerals in the outer shell of the wheat, especially potassium and phosphorus, pile down the grain and remain in the bulb of the bulgur during peeling. Nutritional feature of the bulgur we produce is in this bulb.

Another feature of the bulgur produced in our factory is that it contains no colorant as it has natural colour owing to its production from quality durum wheats in our region.

Quite rich in protein and produced from hard wheat of our region, our products in sterilised and different packages decorate Turkish and world kitchen. The products have succeeded to be a brand which is preferred both in our country and abroad every day and which ranks among the top five.
