Ingredients for Fellah Köfte Recipe
Köfte Ingredients:
- 2 cups fine bulgur with meatballs
- 1 cup semolina
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Salt
- Cumin
For Sauce:
- 1,5 tea cups of olive oil
- 5-6 cloves of garlic (can be reduced upon request)
- 2 tablespoons pepper paste
- 4 grated tomatoes
To decorate:
- 1 Bunch of parsley
- To cook meatballs:
- 2 liters of water
- Boil the water with a teaspoon of lemon salt and normal salt.
Making:
- All the ingredients given for the meatballs are kneaded with the help of lukewarm water and brought to the paste consistency.
- The chickpea-sized pieces of the obtained dough are picked up and soaked in our hands and rolled in the palm in the form of small meatballs.
- These meatballs are pressed with a pinky finger and shaped like a button and placed on a floured tray.
- Heat the oil in a pan for the sauce.
- Crushed garlic is lightly roasted, pepper paste and grated tomato are added and the sauce is made until the tomatoes are cooked.
- Meatballs are poured into boiling water and boiled for 5 minutes and taken to service plate with colander.
- The sauce is spread over the meatballs and finally garnished with finely chopped parsley. Bon Appetit.
